Helping Friends Through Trauma and Grief with Guest Carrie O’Toole

get body 4http://amyelaine.com | Is it worth the risk to share your story, to invite others into your mess, to be authentic and real for the sake of Christ? I believe it is and so does my special guest this week on Real Victory Radio, Carrie O’Toole of Carrie O’Toole Ministries. She’s a Christian counselor, life coach, author, filmmaker, and most of all, friend.

Listen in as Carrie and I talk about trauma and how to come alongside others in their grief! It’s a powerful and practical episode! So, if you’re dealing with grief or loss or trauma or know someone who is (that pretty much covers all y’all) then listen in and learn how to be a better friend in times of trauma and need.

You can listen to Real Victory Radio each week by streaming live from your computer or phone from anywhere on http://947FMTHEWORD.com or there’s an app for Apple! If you’re local in Denver just tune in to 94.7 FM The Word every Saturday, at 6 am or 4 pm to Real Victory Radio!

Real Victory Radio is a listener-supported ministry program of Amy Elaine Ministries, please check out our website to learn more about becoming a partner and joining The Victory Movement. Carrie graduated from Liberty University with a M. A. in Human Services, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Not wanting to open a practice, but desiring to help people, she earned her credentials as a Board Certified Life Coach and Attachment-Based Intervention Specialist through The American Association of Christian Counselors. She is certified as a crisis responder, with credentialing in Grief Following Trauma, and Spiritual and Psychological First Aid.

Carrie helps parents through their own grief and trauma resulting from parenting traumatized children. Some make the decision to continue parenting. Some choose to place their child with another family. Either way, these parents suffer. Carrie walks through these difficult decisions, and the emotions that follow, with her clients.
